The Digital Media & Consumer Products segment draws on the Hitachi Group's state-of-the-art technologies to create flat-panel TVs, HDD/DVD camcorders and other digital consumer electronics that sit at the heart of the networked home. The segment also supplies all types of recording media and home appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines that make people's everyday lives more convenient. All the products provided by this segment generate new value in people's lives.
